The HD-M280 ships with 1900mm Ø5.0mm hoses (front and rear) and is supplied in a serviceable, semi-disassembled state so hose length can be cut to fit modern MTB frame routing. Post-mount-only calipers accept common adapters and 1.8mm rotor thicknesses; rotors, adapters and mounting bolts are sold separately to let you match rotor size and mount standard to your frame and fork.

Because the brakes are shipped partly unassembled, you can trim the supplied 1900mm hoses to the exact length for clean routing and easier installation. Important compatibility notes: use only mineral oil with this system — DO NOT use DOT brake fluids. Rotor adapters, mounting bolts and rotors are not included. If you plan to pair these calipers with non-Tektro levers or drop-bar setups, check lever compatibility and leverage ratios or use appropriate adapters recommended for your lever type.
